Captain Paul Lecomte Jr.

Captain Paul Lecomte, Jr. holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Marist College. He joined the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department in 1980. Since then he has served as a Patrol Officer, Detective, Patrol Sergeant, Traffic Sergeant, and Lieutenant. Captain Lecomte has served as the Coordinator of the departments Crime Scene Technician Unit since its inception. He is a past member of the Dutchess County Traffic Safety Board. He has been the Commanding Officer of the Detective Division since June of 2007.
