Captain Ronald J. Spero Jr.

Captain Ronald J. Spero, Jr. holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies Degree from S.U.N.Y. Empire State College and a Master of Public Administration Degree from Marist College. He is a graduate of the F.B.I. National Academy. He joined the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department in 1988. Since then he has served as a Patrol Officer, Patrol Sergeant, Traffic Sergeant and Lieutenant. He is a founding member of the departments Polygraph Unit. He has been the Commanding Officer of the Patrol Division since December of 2008.
